Homeless and iBUYPOWER have prevailed in their openers versus mouseSpaz and United5 at ESEA Invite Season 15 Global Finals in Dallas, TX. ESEA Finals kicked off late Friday night for Europeans as Joshua "steel" Nissan's Homeless took on Ricky "sLip" Cohen's mouseSpaz in the opening round of the ESEA Invite Season 15 Global Finals. Nissan and company started off strong as they won twelve rounds on the counter-terrorist side of de_mirage, and put the map away at 16-11 after some terrorist side struggles.
Cohen's and Christian "sobo" Soboleske's mouseSpaz evened up the series on de_dust2 though, winning eleven rounds as the defenders and then quickly tying the series with a 16-5 score. It all came down to de_cache, where this time it was Carey "frozt" Kertenian's side Homeless who prevailed, winning easily 16-7 after a 11-4 first half score to advance to the next round. The series was quickly over with a 2-0 scoreline as Kevén "AZK" Lariviere's thirty-kill effort helped eliminate United5 with a 16-9 score on de_inferno, thus allowing iBP to advance.
