NiP take their revenge on fnatic on de_dust2 with a 16-10 scoreline and advance to the grand final to have a rematch with Titan with a one map deficit. After fnatic won the knife round, their side of choice were the Counter-Terrorists. They had to face a five-man push towards B and decided to retake as five from tunnels, which backfired as they met with Adam "friberg" Friberg, whose triple won NiP the first three rounds. A similar strategy in the first gunround melted through fnatic who found themselves at 0-4, although the following buy paid off thanks to a smart boost in a retake two-versus-two. Before the match went into a pause, NiP went on to take three rounds under their wings also thanks to Richard "Xizt" Landström's one-versus-three at 7-1.
Fnatic came back a little after the break and took three rounds in a row, one with their famous four-man B tunnels push, but two out of three remaining rounds were taken by Landström's team for a five-round lead. The first six rounds were split evenly between the teams, as fnatic found themselves losing 13-8, where Robin "flusha" Ronnquist's four kills while defending the A bombsite saved his team once. Another individual performance came into play right in the following round, Andreas "schneider" Lindberg aced his opponents one by one, including a one-versus-two with only thirteen points of health. A force buy on NiP's side was successful though, as well as the following round, and with Friberg's triple in a three-versus-three, the match ended at 16-10.
